Stewart Downing start the professional football career at Middlesbrough Academy, and first debut in Premier League on 24 April 2002 when Middlesbrough against Ipswich Town. After 8 years later he moved to Aston Villa, for now he signed to Liverpool for new career and adventure.
In International career Stewart Downing started in 2003 UEFA U-19 Championship collected 8 caps. For senior team he called by Steve McClaren as manager when England meet Greece at EURO 2008 qualification, with Downing involved in three of goals.
