Xabi Alonso Spain home jersey

Xabier Alonso Olano, who familiar called Xabi Alonso midfielder fromSpain who play for Real Madrid FC. Alonso born 25 november 1981 Tolosa, a small Basque town. On Basque Alonso friended with Mikel Arteta (Arsenal midfielder). He started professional football career in Real Sociedad at age of 18.

After impresive performance with Real Sociedad, he move to Liverpool on 20 August 2004 with £10.7 million deal. With Liverpool Alonso reach Champion league cup and FA cup winner in 2005. On 2009 season he decide move Real Madrid with £30 Million contract until 2012, in new club he use number 22 and played in a holding midfield position.


In Spain national team, Xabi Alonso coming starter against Portugal and played full 90 minutes in Euro 2004. In final tournament of Euro 2008 tournament Alonso featured mainly as a substitute but, with key players resting, he captained Spain in the final group game against Greece, earning the man of the match award and lift the throphy. In 2010 Alonso being started every game in tournament, playing alongside Sergio Busquets and Xavi in midfield and helping Spain to lift their first ever World Cup trophy.

Xabi Alonso use 14 number in Spain national team. For home jersey Spain use red jersey with yellow trim, accompanied by dark blue shorts and socks. Their current home kit designed by a team led by Daniel Newlan at Adidas, is a lighter red than usual along with light blue shorts and red socks, similar to the older 2006 kit.
